Senior's Day Trip to Mandurah
The Society's Seniors went on a day trip to Mandurah, a coastal town 74 kms
south-west of Perth, on Sunday 17th of May. Thanks to the West Australian government, the seniors had a free train journey
to Mandurah Train Station and a free bus ride to the beach. Mandurah is blessed with a unique blend of coast and bushland.
A tourist's paradise, Mandurah is also the capital of the Peel region and considered the gateway to the South West region
of Western Australia. Lunch was served at one of Mandurah's popular eatery, Cicerellos Restaurant and the menu
included Seafood Chowder, Fish & Chips with salad, Tea or Coffee and a piece of cake. All for a magnificient $15.00. It was a well enjoyed day trip for the twenty two seniors who made the trip that day. The Seniors Sub-Committee has
future holidays and day trips in the planning for our seniors. Just keep a lookout.
